Please get control of your domain names. I know it is not something people do on purpose, it is lack of understanding and I feel compelled to write about it. Domain names are quite cheap. You can wrap them up for $10 per year.  When you register it yourself, it is in your name and your control. You can point it to any e-mail system, web page or third party service. DO NOT GIVE IT UP!   If you get into an agreement with company such as a phone book directory publishing company and they want to pick out a name and start a site for you, ask for ownership and control of the domain.  Otherwise you are at the mercy of these companies for e-mail, web pages or any type of naming you want to do on the net. I call it domain name hostage.
