Our Work

Web Applications

Yes Information Matters develops websites but we do much more than that. With the ability of the web to change the way you do business the possibilities are limitless. We use the latest native web technologies to make the web do work for you. We believe that a company should not have to change the way they do business to conform to a piece of technology. Our concentration is on building solutions to utilize existing information and business processes and extending those processes to partners, customers and employees through web technologies.

Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce
The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce had a web site that was updated by the hosting company and maintained a separate membership list at the office. The two seldom were in sync with the current membership list. The new web site provides information about the chamber as well as allowing chamber staff to maintain a single membership list which is always up to date and available to the public. The new site allows visitors to easily find different members and as well as other information about Greenville.

Exams Express
Exams Express used a proprietary system to record their title search exams and were writing much of the information on forms. The web enabled application designed and implemented on budget allows Exams staff to record all information online, access the information from remote offices or courthouses and then record and print the results in a format much more valuable than the hand written forms.

Montcalm County Intranet
In 1997 Montcalm County had several separate departmental networks. After studying the existing networks, defining the current and future needs, Information Matters designed and implemented a countywide network that now connects over 200 computers and all county departments.

Ionia County Intranet
With our experience in Montcalm County we were well prepared to combine the various networks in Ionia County. Utilizing extensive fiber optic connections all departments and buildings in the county were connected through new Windows NT network servers. The county has continued to add computers and Information Matters acts as the IT department for the county.

CareerPlanOnline.Com
This system was created to replace an existing career planning tool that had to be installed and configured locally each time. The new system is web based and allows students, parents and educators to work together to document a student's plan to prepare for their selected career.
